July 2013: Olivya turns 3 months old!

Before I get to Olivya turning 3 months old (holy crap! Where has the time gone??) I got so caught up in talking about all the little kiddo's birthdays in my last post that I forgot to also mention that Michael's birthday was in there as well!!! Yep...July 21st was his birthday. He shares a birthday with Sydney, so her first birthday overpowered his this year (sorry Michael). And plus, Michael was kind of a bum on his birthday...he just wanted to get pizza and not do anything special. In his defense though, it was the same day that he got home from a week long mission trip with his teenagers that he works with...but still. Well, anyway...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!!!

Ok, now onto Olivya turning 3 months old! This girl just continues to grow and grow! She's still eating every 3 hours (not a fan of this feeding schedule) and is doing anywhere from 4-6oz at a time!! But seriously...I do love this chubby little face!

Olivya is alert most of the days and constantly watches her sister run around and tear apart the house! She also is getting very close to rolling over. Every time she is laid or sat down, she tries to sit up or roll over...this girl isn't going to be one to sit down and chill for very long (hmmm....maybe she will take after her mama. Sorry baby!)

Her favorite position is to be sitting up, or being held forward so that she can see what's going on. Definitely still wobbly, but at least it keeps her from crying. 

Not a huge fan of the tummy time...but she will last a few minutes before she starts fussing. She's also still sleeping through the night...11pm until 9am!! I'll take it! 

And Adelyn continues to take good care of her baby sister. Of course we couldn't do a photo shoot without Adelyn wanting in on some of the spotlight. Adelyn climbed up right next to Olivya and took her job very seriously of holding her baby sister...

But this picture just cracks me up. Olivya is looking at Adelyn like, "What are you doing??". haha. It's a good thing that Olivya is pretty chill...for the most part!

It's been an incredible 3 months and we just love to see the pure joy and love that Olivya brings to our family each and every day!!
