October 2012: Just every day life...

It's been a pretty chill week here at the Carmack household...In fact, we have been trying to find things to do to fill our time (usually we are booked solid!!). So, last week, just to get out of the house, I took Addi to Country Sun, a local seasonal place featuring a building full of pumpkins, as well as a few animals and tractors and stuff. Being it was the  middle of the week, we were pretty much the only ones there, and Addi got the run of the building.

And out of all the thousands of pumpkins in this building, of all different sizes, Addi couldn't get enough of a little white one...

Until she pulled the stem off...then she was over it. Oops.

Sadly, that was pretty much our big outing for the week (and we were probably only at this place for 30 min or so). Otherwise, we just hung out and enjoyed this fall weather. At ECFE this week, all the kids got to be kings and queens and sit on the royal throne. It was too cute:

And it's been fun lately to see Adelyn and Sami play together. Sami brings her a bone, and then she plays tug of war with it. Once in awhile, Addi even chases Sami, and they have a grand ol' time...

Addi has found a few new places to play in the house too. This has become one of her favorites (between the chairs under the table). She played under there for over an hour the other day!! I'm thinking forts are in our near future:)

And this weekend, we got to spend some much needed time with cousin Claire! It's been a couple months since we got these two together, so it was fun to spend almost a whole day together on Saturday!!

Oh - and a shout out to my cousin Marcus who got confirmed yesterday!! We had a great time at his confirmation party and celebrating that milestone for him! Also, yesterday, we said goodbye to Michael for a week as he takes the students he works with on their annual mission trip to Jamaica. So...for the next week....it's just us girls:) Hmmm....I wonder what kind of trouble we can get in:)
