Little Miss Adelyn has been quite the Little Miss Mischievous lady lately:...heehee. It all started when she scooted on her butt across the living room to her toy box, and grabbed onto it, and tried to pull it over. After a very carefully guided "pullover" (aka I pulled it over and she helped...but shhh! don't tell her that!), she got right to work and proceeded to pull every. single. toy. out of her toy box. It took her over an hour, but boy was she in her glory!! Since then, it has become one of her favorite activities to do during the day!
And then, after an evening of fussing and refusing to eat her food that I gave her (peas! Yuck!!), I caved and gave her a banana in this little baby food feeder thing. Boy did she LOVE that! Already, this girl knows how to get what she wants.
I mean look at this girl...this face just SCREAMS Mischievous!!! (not to mention this was taken by her babysitter Rachel! Not only does she know how to get what she wants with mom and dad, but she's already working those babysitters:)
And the other day as I was making dinner, Addi was playing on the floor and I noticed her working to tip her playmate over on it's side, and before I knew it, I couldn't see Adelyn, as she had gotten herself behind the playmate and was playing just like it was a tent....hmmm....surely she was up to no good! (but of course she thought it was hilarious when I finally "found" her)
And lastly, she's getting pretty daring...trying to climb up things and reach things that she sees. And what's this?? Going after my wine???? How dare she!!!....:)
What can I say? A girl after my own heart. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Truly, her mother's daughter:)
