My friend Kristina was in town this weekend from California, and on Saturday night we decided to go out to eat. Adelyn was playing with a spoon, and was quickly losing interest, so I got the great idea to rub lemon juice on the spoon. She liked it!!! The first time she tasted it, she made the funniest face and then gripped that spoon so tight that no one was taking it away from her.
So, of course I thought the face she made was so cute that I got the great idea to reinact the face and try to get it on video. So I pried the spoon out of her little hand, and put just a tiny drop on it, and fed it to her...not just once, but twice!! And...well....let's just say we made quite the scene in the restaurant.
So without further adu...I give to you ONE of my (out of many!) worst mom of the year moments:
Sorry Addi. Too much fun at your expense. :) Lesson learned.
