At a playdate last week with Norah (my best friend Katie's daughter), Katie broke out the bubbles!!! What kid doesn't love bubbles??? Addi had never seen a bubble before....so at first...she just watched...
And watched...
But before long, as the bubbles kept coming, the girls started getting more inquisitive as small children do, and of course wanted to touch and grab the bubbles!!
It's so fun to see and think about how small minds process and ponder at this age. What on earth must they have been thinking about something as simple as bubbles? These funny looking circles floating around one minute...and gone the next. If we had enough bubbles, I think these girls could have been entertained for hours. Simplicity. Love it.
And I'm pretty sure this is the look that we got when the bubbles had exhausted themselves, and there were no more. "Hey! what did you do with those bubbles??".
And so you have it...the joy of bubbles!!
