April 2014: A month of "Stuff"

I'm describing the month of April as a month of "Stuff!".Yep, random stuff has been happening at the Carmack household. Such as trying to keep tabs on this girl...she is movin' and groovin' all over the place and if you turn your back for just one second, she can be out of site, in a completely different room of the house (including up the stairs!) and into no good. No good, I tell you....no good!!! (it's a good things she's cute).

We were able to head to the cities for a short night earlier this month, and the girls LOVED the piano at my mom's house. Adelyn has always liked playing it, but the fact that they could play it together was so much more fun!

And back to this little one (aka Olivya)...she has gotten the nickname of "stinker" from Adelyn (and her mom too!) this month and she thinks she is just so darn funny. Her personality is blooming and it's so fun to watch it grow (HUGE sense of humor!)

And finally....FINALLY!!....we got a glimpse of some nice weather this month. We've taken walks, enjoyed a day at the park, and even walked out of the house on multiple days without jackets on (gasp!!)

(Michael got much better pictures of the girls at the park. However, I haven't gotten my hands on them yet so that will have to be an entirely different post). It's even been sunny out to the point where Adelyn will wear her sunglasses!!! (She was pooped after our trip to the park...poor girl isn't used to that much fresh air given the winter that we've had).

Of course, as I'm typing this post right now, we are in the middle of a snow storm (IT'S APRIL 16TH PEOPLE!!!! THE SNOW SHOULD BE OVER!!!!) and we are once again confined to indoor activities for the next few days, as temperatures are back in the 20's. Grrr....

And one last fun video of Olivya...laughing and giggling away. Kills me every time:)

And now we are in the midst of a crazy Holy week (evidently us Pastors have to work overtime this week:) ha.) and getting ready for Olivya's 1st birthday the following week. We did have a great weekend last weekend though when Jenny, Doug and Claire graced us with their visit last weekend! We took the girls to the water park, and had some good, quality cousin play time (pictures to come in another post).

Looking forward to a great Holiday Weekend with family and celebrating the death and resurrection of our Lord! Happy Easter week to all!!!
