September 2013: Olivya is 5 months old!!

5 months...5 months!! This baby is growing like a weed!!

Olivya, you are such a happy baby!!...when you aren't tired or hungry. You love to watch your big sister run around the house, and you are starting to cry when mommy leaves the room...

You're rolling all over the place now. You do NOT like to be still, and you always like to be upright when held. 

Your giggle cracks me up!! You giggle the most when we play Peek-a-boo, itsy-bitsy-spider, or when I dramatically throw my head back and laugh. You just giggle and giggle and giggle. 

You're eating solid foods now for Breakfast and dinner! You still won't give up that bottle though...eating 6 oz. still almost every 3 hours! You are getting better at going to bed at night (though it's still tough to get you down for the night!!) You sleep from 10pm-8am, and wake up 1-3 times during the night just long enough to get your pacifier stuffed back in your mouth, and then you are asleep again. 

Adelyn still absolutely ADORES you! Every morning, when you wake up, she goes over and gets real close to your face and says, "Hi la la...hi la la" in a cute high voice before she smothers you with kisses.

You are so close to being able to sit up on your own! You love to sit up (or stand in your bouncer and you've even started using the jenny-jump up this month in the doorway of the kitchen when mommy is cooking!). You can sit for about 5 seconds before you slowly fall over...

Olivya Ann, you are as precious as they come! You already seem so curious and interested in the world going on around you. You aren't a fan of being in places where there is a lot of noise or too much commotion, and you don't like being in the nursery at church when mommy has meetings at night, but other than that, you have captured our hearts and are becoming so much fun to interact with!
