FALL IS HERE!!!! This weekend, we took advantage of this definite fall weather that we are having here in Minnesota, and headed to the Afton Apple Orchard. We had never been to this orchard, but we WILL be going again! It was a blast!
We spent a good 2 hours at this apple orchard....they had so much to do. We started by visiting the petting zoo...though Adelyn wasn't too sure about these crazy animals.
And then we took some time to play on the big spider web and do some swinging at the playground...
And of course, we had jumped on the wagon for a great hay ride (no pun intended)
We took a break for lunch and enjoyed an "apple-filled" lunch (Apple Brats, apple fritters and apple chili!). Adelyn stuck to her crackers...
And we visited the giant apple to measure how tall Adelyn was!! Hopefully this will be a yearly picture and we can see how she grows:)
But of course, the highlight of the Apple Orchard was picking our own apples!! And of course, eating them too:)
Happy Fall!!! I can't wait to start making things with all the apples we got!! (Applesauce, apple crisp, and apple donuts are top on the list this year!)
A great Fall day spent at the Apple Orchard. I would HIGHLY recommend it:)
