July 2012: Annual Seekel Summer Party (a preview)

Every Summer, our entire "Seekel Side" family gets together for one heck of a party for no reason other than to get together! (the only other time we all get together is for a Christmas party in December, so this is just a reason to get us all together each summer). This year, we had a hawaiian pool party for our annual Summer party!

And of course, it wouldn't be a summer party if we weren't at a pool during this party! My cousin Josh hosted us this year and it was such a great place to have this party...Hmm...Addi's love for the pool probably came from me, which came from my mom, so this picture says it all! 

This year was extra fun too because we have 3 new babies in the family since last year's reunion! Yep! That's right! 3!! All the babies did great at the party (it must be in their genes) and they all conked out late afternoon after partying so hard. Here's the 3 new additions to our family (left --> Right is Addi with her grandma, Claire with her grandma, and Nate with his dad). So fun to have these babies around...things are going to get crazy in a few years when they are all running wild! 

And these babies got lots of play time together! No doubt they will all grow up having so much fun and loving each other just like all of us cousins did when we were little (and still do to this day!)

The girls just squeeled and smiled at each other. Poor Claire is a bit sensitive to sounds, so when Addi got excited and squeeled/screamed to her, this is what we got:

So fun that my cousin Jenny and I grew up together and now we will have girls that will grow up together!! We just can't wait to "pass on" to them everything that we were made to do as kids together! haha. 

And this is JUST a preview of how much fun we had at this party!! We also played volleyball, ate tons of great food, played with all the kids, floated in the pool, and enjoyed the weather!! (All those pictures were taken by someone else...and I just need to wait until they are posted before I steal them). You get the drift!

Once again, I am so honored and blessed to have this incredible family that truly loves spending time together and having a good time!! Thanks to all my family for being so great!!
