Happy 1st Father's Day to my hubby!!! We had a very busy, but very fun filled day! After I got done with work, I met Adelyn and Michael downtown Stillwater for some Shanghi Bistro lunch and patio sitting (gorgeous day it started off as!!). Adelyn was showing off to everyone how great her Daddy is, and how much fun he lets her have:) This was after she just devoured some very yummy watermellon!
And it was sunny, so she had to shade her eyes!!
But seriously, Michael loves this little girl with everything he has and it is sooooooo clear in his parenting! Adelyn is a VERY lucky little girl to have this guy as her daddy (and I'm a very lucky lady to have this man as my hubby...and as the father of my child).
Ok, that's enough sap-talk for now:) After lunch, we all drove up to Camp Wapo where we dropped our nephew Brady off for a week of camp!! I can't believe he is old enough to be at camp for an entire week!! He was so excited to get off and playing once we got to camp that we didn't even get a chance to snap a picture of him! Bummer. Oh well. After we got back from dropping him off, we did a huge grill out with my dad (and mom) for Father's Day! Adelyn even got to take part...though while she didn't get to eat the incredible (and HUGE) steaks that we grilled, she did get to enjoy some of mom's corn that was left on her cob! She loved this!
A Father's day spent with 2 great fathers!! That's the way it should be!
