Anyone who knows Michael and I knows that we are avid Twins fans. We love baseball...and we love the Twins! So when we were offered tickets for Home Opener for the Twins game this past week, we were stoked!! Adelyn would finally get to experience her first twins game!
Minnesota's new outdoor stadium is incredible! I wouldn't trade it for the world. It just makes baseball so. much. better. But, with outdoor baseball, you have to be prepared to deal with Minnesota weather...whatever it may throw at you. And so, in mid April, we dressed in layers, hauled Addi's snowsuit and blankets with us to the stadium...and boy are we glad we did. It was a very windy and "brisk" day in Minnesota...
But we still had a great time! Adelyn did incredible! She just sat on my lap for the entire game (no expression...no movement...but I just know deep down she was thinking, "Yay Twins! Go Twins!" and jumping out of her snowsuit in excitement)
Overall, Addi's 1st Twins game was a success! Can't wait for the many more this summer that are to come! Michael and Addi were even stopped by a photographer and he snapped this cute picture of these Twin's fans...they were even featured on an am radio station's website (impressive, I know...). While we didn't get a win from the Twins, we still had a great time!! Go Twins!
