December2011: Christmas in Texas

We arrived in Texas at 10pm on Christmas Day, but by the time we got to Michael's parent's house, it was well after midnight. So, we celebrated Christmas with the family (Michael's sister and her husband were in town, Michael's brother and his girlfriend were present, and his parents were there too!) the day after Christmas. Once again, Adelyn got some incredible gifts!!

It was so fun to see family, hang out, and we even got to enjoy gorgeous weather!!

Every year when we are in Texas, we get together with some great friends!! First, we got to have dinner with Beth & Erik. Wished we lived closer to these two...they are so much fun and such great people!!

We also got to spend a night with our great friend Cassidy! She threw a bowl party that we all went to (great food by the way!!!). This night happened after an entire day of shopping (left Addi with Michael while Amy, Priscilla, Phillip and I went shopping) at the biggest outlet mall that I had ever been to!! I was in heaven:)...and spent way too much money...

Also, this same night, we ventured out late to see some fun Christmas lights nearby. Addi loved looking at the lights (or she was just so tired she couldn't stop staring. haha)

What a great time we had in Texas visiting family and friends! We love that Addi got to spend lots of time with Uncle Josh & Tasha...And Aunt Amy & Uncle Phillip...and Gramma and Grandpa Carmack...and lots of other family and friends;)
