December2011: Holidazzle Tradition

For the past few years, it has become a tradition to go to the Holidazzle Parade in Downtown Minneapolis with our good friends, Scott, Maggie, SueLynn and Aaron, and whoever else wants to join us (for you out-of-towners...it's a parade through downtown that has Christmas lights decorating all floats, people, and things.)

Even though the parade rarely changes from year to year, there is just something about it that gets us into the Christmas spirit. This, of course, was Adelyn's first year attending, and it was actually a warm enough evening that we could hold her and she could enjoy it too! (Usually, when we go to this parade, we inevitably end up picking the coldest night of the year to stand outside and watch the parade). So, we bundled her up, and had a fun night out:

With Mom and Dad...wondering what this is all about!

Just us girls hanging out!! We have been so lucky this December to spend lots of time with these great friends! (L-- R is Maggie, me, Adelyn, & SueLynn)

Let the parade begin!! Adelyn loved looking at the lights:

Ah yes...the hubbies were all present too! I have a sneaky suspicion that us girls are more into this night than the men are...but they were all great sports about it.

Gotta have some crazy moments too!

And we ended our night with a great dinner at Rock Bottom Brewery. Fun Night with great friends!
