Hello Owl and Monster!!
We had 2 chances to wear our halloween costumes this year! The first was at the ECFE family party that the school put on...they had lots of activities for preschool age and younger. Adelyn had a great time decorating mini-pumpkins, playing a few games, and frosting her own cookie! Olivya just hung out (literally) most of the evening. They ended the evening with a little kid parade around the gym...so cute seeing all the kids all dressed up in the Halloween spirit.
Then, on Halloween Day, I worked a 1/2 day and then we headed down to the cities to join our family for our annual halloween party, complete with trick-or-treating (with a ratio of 1 kid to 2-3 adults walking!! Hilarious!) and of course the Simon-famous TUNA BURGERS!!! These little ones just loved riding in the wagon around the neighborhood and going around house to house trick-or-treating and getting candy in their buckets. It's amazing how quickly they catch onto this crazy thing that we do every Halloween.
Here's an attempt at trying to get all 3 kids to small for a halloween picture...
And once Adelyn realized what was in her "pumpkin", she never turned back...
It was a great Halloween!! Oh - and I just had to share...here's my latest pinterest creation...(and one that finally turned out! Yay!). Happy Halloween everyone!!
