This past weekend, my cousin Traci and her daughter Madi, and my mom all came to Aitkin for a girls weekend together!! We had such a blast with the girls. Adelyn absolutely LOVED being around Traci and Madi, and followed Madi around everywhere, doing the exact same thing that she did. Our Girls' Weekend consisted of lots of playing, hitting up the local ice cream shop, walking to the coffee shop, making our own pizzas, and shoe shopping... (Addi and Madi even got matching fuzzy crocs! too cute!),
One of my favorite events of the weekend was watching Madi and Addi dance to Mama Maria. Of course I had to get a little snipit of it on video:
And we had mostly rainy days during our girls weekend, but on Friday, we got a beautiful afternoon to be outside and head to the pumpkin patch/Apple orchard where we went through the "haunted" corn maze, picked some apples, and played around on the pumpkins!
And on Sunday, it got just nice enough to head to the park for some much needed outside play time (and Olivya's first swinging experience!!)
Man, am I blessed to have such amazing family and cousins!!!
And here's just a few other random things that have been going on in our lives...Olivya is as happy as can be...Adelyn is definitely 2 and has developed major independence/attitude!
We've been attending ECFE classes every Monday night where Adelyn gets to do art projects, play with other "friends", and last week, they even got to play in the firetruck!
And just hanging out with sisters...
And Grama is here for the week!!! Yay!!! Michael is off to Jamaica for one last mission trip with his old church, and so my mom agreed to come and stay with us for the week to help out with the girls since I have a crazy schedule!! Let the fun week begin:)
