Just before I had Olivya, I thought it would be a great idea to custom order shirts for the girls that sported "Big Sister...Little Sister...".
Little did I know that it would be next to impossible to photograph a toddler and a newborn together. I feel like one of those "fail" pictures on pinterest when the pinterest picture looks amazing, and then you try it yourself, and it pretty much looks like this...
Adelyn was way too excited, and she does not understand that she needs to be "gentle" next to her little sister (actually, I'm pretty sure that she doesn't understand any sorts of "gentle" in her life!!)
And Olivya wouldn't stay in the position that we would put her (come on child!! Work with us!!)
But I guess we don't need shirts to tell us that these two are sisters (and you definitely don't need shirts to tell you which one is the "little" sister and which is the "big" sister)...but it's amazing to me how in just 3 short weeks we have become a family of four and have love for Olivya as if we have known her our entire lives. Adelyn is a proud big sister with so much love for Olivya...and even this picture says that!
Oh and P.S....check back often this week at the blog!! We have been super busy the past few days and have lots of photos to show for it! I have 5 blog posts almost ready to go, so I'm thinking I will post one a day for the rest of this week!!! (exciting! I know...)
