April 2013: Just Busy...

Sorry not much of a post today (might not be much of a post for a few weeks people...big things are happening this week that "might" take some of my time away from my blog)...but as I've been busting my butt to get all finals, papers and assignments complete to finish Seminary a month early, here's what's been going on around me...

Adelyn still needs to take baths...and yes, I make about 10 different hairstyles with her hair as I am washing it. This was my favorite the other night.

On Friday I was needing to get out of the house, so I took Addi to open gym at a local kids gymnastics place. She was in her glory!! They had trampolines, foam pits, jumpy things, obstacle courses, a blow-up jumpy house, balance beams, bars. She did great and loved running around and trying everything out. I think we could have stayed and played all day long!

Oh - and I can't even talk about this much because I'm soooo over it...but it continues to snow here. As I sit here, we are under yet another snowstorm warning where 6-10 inches is expected to fall in the next 30 hours. Ugh. (Yes, that's the snow that fell into my car a few days ago when I was getting in from opening the door).

This kid has been eating a ton lately...and her newfound love is syrup. She asks for it for every meal, and while I usually try to give her panckaes with it, she has been found eating cheerios with syrup on them, and just a small drop of syrup on her plate in which she took the liberty to lick off of her plate. Too funny.

And here's my "to do before maternity leave" list for work....Just two small things left to accomplish!! (have I ever mentioned that I LOVE lists?? Because I do!)

Still trying to get in as much snuggle time with this little tyke while I can;)

And even with snow on the ground, last week we had a day that was in the low 40's, but Sunny!! (make all the difference in the world!) so after I picked Addi up from daycare, we went to the park for the first time this year! We got wet as we tramped through the snow to get from the swings to the playground and back again, but at least we got to finally enjoy the park!!

Adelyn enjoyed a special treat at Gramma's the other day...and boy oh boy did she make sure that she finished every single bite of it!

And she found a new place to sit and enjoy a snack in a cup. She now goes into our bedroom and empties the laundry basket (as long as it's not too full), brings it out in the living room, and gets in and sits in it (or plays) for awhile.

Oh - and have I mentioned that the countdown is 2 days??? 2 Days!!!!! And then life as we know it will once again change! Getting stoked for this soon to be family of 4...

Oh my word, your daughter is an elf! One of her favorite foods is syrup, so it must be true. Have you tried it on spaghetti noodles yet?? :)

You are a crazy girl--after your post about being so busy last week, you've still posted twice! Twice!!

Ha! I just posted two today!! Hey, is there a way to "follow" your blog? I don't really even know what that means (3 people are following mine :)), but I thought I'd try it out!

Yay for the last class of your post-graduate career!!!! Way to go Missy, you are a wonder woman!

Yay!!! 2 in one day:) I love it when that happens (now what am I going to do with the rest of my day? haha - and poor Blake! Hopefully his head heals soon...and poor YOU!! - I totally know what it's like for emotions to fly everywhere!!). I know there is a way to "follow" people's blogs...I just go on my setting part (kind of where you write a new post) and type in the name /address of the blog I want to follow and do it that way. I technically should probably find a button that I can put on my blog that makes it easy for people to just click and follow it, but I don't know how to do that. Maybe someday I'll try to figure it out:)
