November 2012: Simon Girls' Christmas Party

Every Year, All the "Simon Girls" (on my mom's side) get together the Saturday after Thanksgiving for our Annual "Simon Xmas Get Together". We start off each  year by going to my mom's house for some breakfast, coffee, and a small gift. This year, my mom, my cousin Traci, and I gave everyone a shutterfly photo book from our "Simon Girls' Milestone Birthday Trip" that we took to Florida this past March.

The real little kids got cute "Little People" Christmas books with fun flaps to open and read through...

Adelyn also found the new Fisher Price Manger that my mom just bought for her to play with at her house. Seriously, this is the cutest thing ever and Adelyn LOVED it!!

We enjoyed a great morning of opening gifts, hanging out, drinking coffee, and being together (Sydney even looked through her 1st toy catalogue! You're in for it now Sara! )

Before we loaded cars to head to our next destination, we snapped a quick picture of me, Adelyn and my mom....I just had to share because I LOVE this picture!

We all packed it into 3 large cars and headed out to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, where they had a whole Christmas theme going on. Right when we walked in, there was a HUGE (and gorgeous) poinsettia tree

The rest of the day we spent enjoying the arboretum, walking around, playing a life-sized Candyland Game, and we even all took a picture with Santa! Here's a few shots from our day:

Adelyn and Sydney also got some snuggle time in! These next two pictures crack me up! Adelyn looking at Sydney (melts my heart) and Sydney's face (not too sure about this). Such fun these Cousins already have together!!

After the arboretum, we all went to lunch at Hoolihans near by. A delicious lunch. It was a fun-filled day spent with great family. By the time we finally got in the car, it was WAY past Adelyn's nap time, and it seems that we wore her out good! She slept the whole way home, and then some!

'Tis the start of this Xmas Season:) Let the festivities begin:)
