May 2012: 10 Months Old!

10 Months old...yep, that's right. Here we are again, one month later from when I freaked out about you turning 9 months, here we are now at your 10 month Birthday!!!  I'm not freaking out this time though (well, in writing anyway) because we have just had so much fun with you this month!! You're stubborn, determined, spoiled, hilarious, goofy, and so stinkin' cute!! 

I just can't get enough of this personality of yours!!! Adelyn Elizabeth, you are precious!

Alright...so here's what you've been up to this month: You LOVE to play games still (soooo big!!), and mimic things that we do with our voice/mouth (pffffbbbffffff with your bottom lip)

And you love your dolly, Molly (you also have this same doll at Gramma's house whose name is Betsy that you also love!)

Peek-a-boo is still one of your favorite games, and anything that fits into your hand, you think is a telephone ("hello?? Who is it?" - that's what we say when you hold it up to your ear), and you get quite a kick out of it when we play ball, and roll/throw the ball back and forth. We (non-biased, I swear! - yeah right) think we have a natural athlete in our midst. When you throw things, you know exactly when to let go of the object (sending it flying!) and you seem to know how to "catch" once in awhile too:) 

Adelyn Elizabeth, this month you truly have started to become your own person! You are still sleeping 11 hours a night (please continue that!!), and you have started only liking to eat things that you can pick up and eat yourself (much more challenging for me to figure out your meals this way...but we manage:). You are still a trooper and love to go places, see new things, and be with people! You are constantly on the go and never stop moving (and when you are on a mission...look out! You push things out of your way when you are trying to get somewhere...including the dog!! - poor Sami). You have mastered standing up on things, and even are venturing a bit at walking around things when you are holding onto them. Unless you are hungry or tired, you really are just an overall happy, fun, baby!! 

I can't believe you are already 10 months old, Adelyn (there, I said it!). In just 10 short months, you have rocked our lives in a way that we never thought possible! We love you and your silly ways!!
