March 2012: 8 Months Old

8 Months?? 8 Months?? Already??? Wowzers! 

You are such a busy bee...always having to move and grab and stand and play! Getting you to take a nap is perhaps the most challenging thing that we continue to encounter with you...but when you do sleep...you sleep hard! I suppose it is because you play so hard that you consistently sleep 11+ hours straight through the night...and for that I thank you!! All around...you are just a happy girl who loves to look and do and see and play!! 

Some other notables about this month...you have been teething like a madbaby! This month alone, you broke all your 4 top front teeth! Other than a couple fussy nights...you took it like a champ. You have also found your "clicker" (aka your tounge), and love to make clicking noises. You also love to give [slobbers] kisses, and you recently discovered how to blow back at someone after they blow in your face. 

And while you STILL have yet to full out crawl...you learned this month how how to sit up from a laying position...and of course, you've gotten extremely good at pulling yourself up to a standing position and walking while holding onto someone's fingers. My guess?? Who needs crawling when you can go straight to walking!  

Addi, you continue to delight and challenge us! You are such a happy baby, who has an incredible personality! Can't believe it's already been 8 months! Slow down baby!!!! We love you!!!
