To be honest, we didn't even really know it was St. Patty's Day this weekend. To any of our Irish family or friends...don't hate us...we aren't trying to be haters:) It wasn't until I went and got my haircut by my cousin (who did a fabulous job!!) that we were informed that it was indeed St. Patty's day.
So...in true non-Irish fashion...we realized we weren't wearing any green and clearly wouldn't fit in at any activities that were going on around the city...so we did what we do best lately...and that is head to the park!! This time we ventured over to River Falls and found a great park where we went on a little hike and played our hearts out! I think we captured some of Addi's emotions pretty well here...can you see the joy in her heart for her love of swings???? Geez-la-weez child!! haha.
Again, it was a great day to be outside! Sorry Adelyn, for not making your first St. Patty's day "festive" for you, but honestly, I think you rather be swinging at this point then sitting in a green onesie somewhere...just saying:)
Later that night, we hung out at home and played with our new toys. Some more cute shots...
What a cutie...we can't help but agree. But let's be honest...she has her moments! Not often...but she does...and when it happens, little Miss Addi becomes Little Miss DRAMA!!! (I say she takes after her Daddy...he says she takes after me...) And so sometimes....this is what we get at the end of a long day...
