December 2011: Christmas with the Seekel's

Every Year, the "Seekel Side" gets together for a GREAT Christmas celebration....this year was no exception! The best part of the day is spending time with some pretty incredible family:

It has also become somewhat of a tradition to play some snow football. There wasn't any snow this year as we started playing football...but boy was there LOTS of snow by the time we ended!! We began by choosing teams...here are the two teams:

Please notice that I am not pictured on either one of these teams. Well, that's because I was the last person chosen!!!! come on people!! Even in elementary school I wasn't the last one chosen! haha. Maybe it was because I was holding the camera...or that I wasn't really dressed for football...or that I am known to goof off a bit. But finally, I was chosen and the game began...

I would also like to add, that I got the most yards out of anyone playing! ha. We all had a great time playing together, having fun, laughing a lot, and being together.

After our "epic" football game, all the little kids (plus Holly) got to open their presents from their Secret Giver:

And of course, it wouldn't be a Seekel Christmas without some games being played to finish off our day together:

What a great day! Family, Fun, drinks, laughter, snow, presents, great food....what else could one want for a great holiday party! We are so blessed to have such great family who truly love to spend time together!!
