Every year for Halloween for as long as I can remember, the whole Simon Family (whoever can make it) goes to my Aunt Terri's house for Trick-or-treating, hanging out, and the infamous TUNA BURGERS!!!! I can't even describe the amazingness of these once-a-year tuna burgers that my grandma makes, but it's definitely the highlight of Halloween for us! (Michael can't understand why we only get to eat them once a year...he needs a lesson on Traditions!!).
For Adelyn's 1st Halloween, Grammy Carmack bought her this cute little monkey costume, which worked out perfectly because Michael and I can often be heard calling Addi "Monkey toes" or "Monkey Butt". Not sure where this came from, but it was something that started when she was really little, and has kind of stuck. So....with out further adu.....Addi the Monkey!!!
Getting ready to go Trick-or-treating with Cousin Brady...(yes, we did bring her up to people's doors to get candy!! We had it done to us when we were little, so we are merely keeping with tradition)
It was a gorgeous night out and Addi had a good time!! She lasted about an hour before Michael took her back to the house (we stayed out a little longer with Brady). What good family fun!!
Oh yeah - and here is her first pumpkin. I promised in an earlier post that I would put up the picture of the final result of the pumpkins. Of course, this is what we thought Addi would have wanted her pumpkin to look like. Her mommy and daddy carved while she played nearby:)
(Left to Right: Missy's Pumpkin, Addi's pumpkin (with her tounge sticking out), Michael's pumpkin)
