Yes, the ambilical cord has fallen off, which means this girl got her first "real" bath this past week. I always wonder what these little ones are thinking in their minds when they experience something for the very first time EVER!!! This is what I think Olivya was thinking in her innermost dialogue during her very first bath:
"Ugh! Hey! What the heck is this?? What's going on? What's happening to me? What is this wet stuff?? I'm panicking here..."
"Ooh...the noisy water has stopped and now this feels kinda good! Ooh - and what's this being poured on my head? More warm water?? Yep...maybe I like that...but I'm still going to act frazzled!"
"Ah shucks...they got me. they just keep pouring this nice warm water over my head and it feels oh so good!"...
"Doo...doo...I'm just going to sit here and twiddle my thumbs while I sit in this nice warm stuff..."
"Ah Man!! It's over already?? I guess if I get wrapped in this nice hooded towel I'll be ok. Yep, I'm definitely a fan of this bath thing! Let's do that again!!"
Success!!!! Yay!!
(To be honest, I was expecting the worst after Adelyn's First Bath experience...but Yay for bath time (for now anyway)!!!
