Week 9: Celebrating in Vegas

Wednesday morning, I dropped off Addi before I headed to work, and said goodbye to her, as I was leaving straight from work to the airport, and leaving Addi for the first time for the night (3 nights, actually). So, we headed off to Vegas on Wednesday Evening to celebrate the big 30!! I'm a true believer of what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but it was too fun not to share some things!! 6 of us met up late Wednesday night. We all stayed at the Excalibur Hotel, which I thought was a great hotel for us! Here are a few memories from our trip.

The 6 of us...I couldn't ask to spend this long weekend with any better people!!

We of course, had to hit up some slot machines and tables. I got to be real fond of the "Sex in the City" slot machine after I won "big" (and by big I mean a whoppin $20!!)

We had fun on the strip...stopping at m&m world...

We also had fun just bumming around other hotels, enjoying the themes of each one, and every once in awhile throwing a buck or two into one of their slot machines.

I thought New York was the city that never sleeps, and then I went to Vegas! It never felt like it was night time there! But of course, the lack of sleep caught up to us, and Maggie had to take some durastic measures to stay out late at night (we won't mention what happened to her after she took this double shot of espresso)

The first night in Vegas, we went and saw the Jabbawoskies perform and the second night we were there, we went to a comedian/magician that was really funny. Here are some images from that night:

What a great trip! We sat by the pool, ate an entire day of all you can eat buffet food, walked around, hung out, and enjoyed eachother's company! Oh yeah - Michael even got me a massage, facial and pedicure at the spa for my birthday the first day we were there! That was the life!!

While we were in Vegas, Addi got to hang out with Gramma Seekel, Brady and Papa. We got lots of updates and missed her tons, but it sure felt great to get some Mommy/Daddy time too!!
